Most Recent Haulout

We haul MOKEN every couple of years to attend to projects that cannot be completed in the water. She was last hauled for maintenance in November 2019 at Rebak Marina in Langkawi. Her antifoul was renewed with Chugoku TFA-30, which works really well in Southeast Asian waters. All anodes were checked and replaced as required. Hull anodes were in good shape (last replaced 2017). The propeller anode and Spurs line cutter anode and wear bearing were replaced this time. The lower leg unit of the bow thruster and coupling were also replaced. The cutlass bearings were checked at this time (replaced 2017). The port and starboard water tank lids were removed, tanks were cleaned and new food grade silicone seals were installed.

MOKEN was hauled again for storage on the hard in May 2020. The antifoul was pressure washed, topsides were wrapped in 90% UV shade cloth and the watermaker was pickled. Another coat of Chugoku antifoul will be applied before she returns to the water.
